Call for Submissions

We love hearing from you. We continually look for honest, thoughtful contributions related to rural geographies, with a strong preference for diverse voices from rural working worlds. On Fields in Fields this can translate to: long-form prose, poetry, interview format, academic essay, photo narration, video, fine art, digital collage, or other multimedia. We hope our readers come away feeling grounded, transported, and delighted by consistently relevant stories from today’s global countrysides. We aim to inspire curiosity and foster meaningful connections in our increasingly geographically-ambiguous world. If this resonates with you, write to let us know.

Before sending us your abstract/work/referral, we suggest to have a look at other articles on Fields in Fields as a general guide. For security reasons, please send your submission(s) in the body of your email; we will not open unknown attachments. We reserve the right to edit all final features for the publication.
